Weekly Photo Challenge: Hope
The WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge for this week is “Hope“. So, during my lunch break today at work, I decided to take a walk outside and ponder what it means to hope. The word has a stigma around it. President Obama used it in his campaign to inspire the nation. We often hear people hope for world peace.
But have you ever noticed that we hope for the small things in life too? I hope that my car will start every morning. I hope that my favorite chai will be on sale at the store. I hope that the elevator in my office building gets me to the 4th floor. I hope that my breakfast tastes good. I hope that people will do what they say they are going to do. It was at this point in my walk that I found the perfect photo for this week’s challenge:
I bet each time a truck driver rings this bell he thinks, “Man, I hope I don’t have to wait long.” After all, hope is in the small things.
What’s your interpretation of this week’s challenge of “Hope?” Leave a link to your post below.

Absolutely, hope is in the smallest of things; Hope is a personal thing. I often hope that my sons didn’t take the last roll of tp, that there is enough cream for my coffee, that the occasional interac transaction goes through …
I love this. Many truck drivers have waited and thought that very thing …
Thanks for stopping by to check out my photo Bridgette!
i hope that whoever stole my bike at fry’s when i had it locked up, will feel bad and bring it back, that is what i hope for today,
i also hope that oprah or maurie , will contact me on my story how i survived serial killer bill bradford from la.ca.
